Today my 2nd creation which I've made in 1993, so that's been a while ago....... I love sunflowers, they are such beautiful and strong flowers and yellow is the colour of the 'I am' power. I mean the power within yourself at your 3rd chakra energy center at your solar plexus) that corresponds with the yellow colour.....I think that's why a lot of people don't use often the bright yellow colour. It's often so difficult to feel your own power and acknowledge it.( and then use it)And then I don't mean the ego, because most of the time that's developed enough.
You can put this beside you if you don't believe in those things.......it will come back in my chakra mandala drawings which I've made also long time ago on a mandala course. A teacher once said to me 'colour my words with your feelings'. That's also what I want to say to those who are reading this.
I've used the same technique as the previous drawing, with ink pen and colour pencils.

Vandaag mijn 2e creatie, de zonnebloem vrouw die ik gemaakt heb in 1993, dus al weer een tijdje geleden....... Ik hou van zonnebloemen, het zijn zulke mooie krachtige bloemen en geel is de kleur van de Ik ben kracht. Daarmee bedoel ik de kracht in jezelf ter hoogte van het 3e chakra( de zonnevlecht) die correspondeert met de gele kleur.......Ik denk dat daarom mensen niet zo vaak geel gebruiken. Het is vaak moeilijk om je eigen kracht te voelen en te erkennen.( en dan te gebruiken) En dan bedoel ik niet het ego, want dat is vaak maar al te goed ontwikkeld.......
Je kunt dit naast je neer leggen als je niet in deze dingen gelooft.....het zal terug komen in de chakra mandala tekeningen die ik een tijd geleden maakte op een cursus.
Een leraar zei me ooit ' kleur mijn woorden maar met jouw gevoel'. Dat is ook wat ik wil zeggen tegen de mensen die dit lezen.
Ik heb dezelfde techniek gebruikt als de vorige tekening, met inktpennen en kleurpotloden.

BeantwoordenVerwijderende babykamer van Patrick en ook van Anouk waren geel, werd er door sommige mensen dat het de kleur van haat was, ik dacht laat maar kletsen, het voelt goed en nu lees ik hier jouw mooie verhaal.

Zo prachtig Miranda. Inderdaad de zonnebloem is niet alleen mooi maar ook zeer krachtig EN zonnig. Kan me helemaal vinden in je woorden je eigen kracht te voelen en te erkennen. Zie uit naar je mandela tekeningen. Ook daarin is zoveel te lezen. En wat een woorden van de leraar: Kleur mijn woorden maar met jouw gevoel. Prachtig.

Miranda, your art work makes my heart happy ! I love the face, flowers and colours. I am a gardener and enjoy sunflowers - the yellows are so vibrant ! Funnily enough your image made me think of the Wood Nymphs or Dryads from Greek mythology, & after reading your description, I can see why I initially thought the image was masculine - it's the strong bone features. Your shading of those leaves & petals is beautifully detailed & I love the touches of orange. Very striking.
